Mission Statement

After School Program

Summer Camp

Our Three’s Room staff specializes in:

• Supporting children as they acquire new skills providing necessary support to help the child accomplish tasks

• Patiently redirecting to help children toward controlling their own impulses and behavior

• Designing a cheerful, sanitary and safe environment which is appealing to the child’s senses

• Modeling the types of interactions they want the child to develop

• Sharing pertinent information regarding the child’s day with parents

Our Three’s Room curriculum consists of:

• An emphasis on social skills including sharing and cooperation

• Activities centered around letter recognition, colors, shapes, numbers

• An introduction to math and science concepts

• Utilization of appropriate art media in which children are encouraged to explore and manipulate the materials to develop fine motor skills

• Stories, songs and fingerplays relating to the developmentally appropriate weekly theme

• Daily opportunities for gross motor activity, both indoors and outdoors

• A daily Bible story and prayer before snacks and meals

9:10-9:30          Morning Snack

9:30-9:40          Books/Puzzles

9:40-10:00        Group Time (weather, calendar, daily theme)

10:00-10:45      Art/Daily Activity

10:45-11:10      Clean Up/Bathroom time

11:10-11:45      Lunch

11:45-12:00      Books/Story time

12:00-12:45      Outside/Gross Motor

12:45-1:00         Bathroom/Prep for nap

1:00-3:00           Nap

3:00-3:20           Wake up/Bathroom Time

3:20-3:40           Afternoon Snack

3:40-4:00           Bible Time

4:00-6:00           Free Play/Outside/Pick-up
